Job Description

Our ideal candidate is someone who is interested in the fast pace retail industry. We are looking out for someone with strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design. Having experiences in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms is definitely a plus point too.

Your day-to-day will require focus on fine details and plan out executions through careful conceptual directions, brainstorm, and design. Here is the type of task you will be involved in for this role:

Study design briefs and determine requirements
Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, promotion, digital media, fairs and events
Work with copywriters, marketing and creative lead to produce design
Preparing rough drafts of material based on agreed brief
Liaising with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality
Possess solid understanding of design principles, printing procedures, photography and illustration
Test graphics across various media
Produce photographs for the website, product page, and marketing use
File management, archiving, and documentation

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets
Create compelling and effective logos, designs, print and digital media
Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trends
